The McBobby Burger

When I was trying to decide which creation of mine to let ya’ll in on this week, I remembered one of the greatest things my Dad ever taught me, that my friends is my way around a grill.  From as far back as I can remember, I can see myself standing there by my dad holding the plate as he grilled up something amazing.  My favorite thing to grill was hamburgers; I finally got it down to where I can flip em up in the air and then catch em.  Eventually I took what I had learned from him and came up with my own specialty.

Here is what ya need:
Ground Beef – Base how much you need on how many you have to cook for
Bacon – Make sure you get the good kind that still has to be cooked and not any of that pre-cooked stuff
American Shredded Cheese
BBQ Sauce – I would recommend the sweet sauce from Sonny’s BBQ but whatever kind you prefer will work

Here is what ya do:
–Start off by frying the bacon in a medium sized frying pan on about 350 till it’s thoroughly cooked, but not crispy.  Take the bacon and then chip it up into pieces no bigger than a dime.
–Next take your ground beef and put it into a large bowl.  You are now going to dig in with your hands and mix in the bacon pieces to where they are all throughout the beef.  Next do the same thing with the shredded cheese.
–Once you get it all mixed in, pour your BBQ Sauce into the bowl all over the beef, you might have to get your hands a little saucy for this one too, or just use a spoon.
–Put a lid on the bowl and let it sit for about 20 minutes in the refrigerator, this helps the sauce to soak into the beef.
–You are now ready to shape your patties and get them on the grill

Another little thing that I like to do sometimes is to cook up some onions and mushrooms on the grill to add on top of the burger.  You can also chip up some peppers and mix in, whatever you like you can do.

Enjoy!
