CAKE DECORATING CLASS:

Classes begin the week of September 6th, 2010.  There are morning classes 9:15 A.M. – 11:15 A.M., and evening classes from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.  Click here for more details or sign up today at Michael's on Hwy 27 in Clermont.  Cost is only $22.50 per month plus supplies.  Classes are 2 hours, once a week for 4 weeks.

FIT – N – FUN PROGRAM COMES TO MINNEOLA!:

Start the foundation for a healthy lifestyle early. Increase speed, strength, endurance and agility with age appropriate activities and equipment. This program is beneficial to all children –Ages 8 – 12 – regardless of athletic ability and fitness level. Fit – N – Fun will teach kids an easy, fun and exciting way to stay fit and healthy with a combination of simple playground games and agility / conditioning drills designed to improve body control and coordination. This program is sponsored by the Minneola Recreation Department and will be instructed by certified trainer: Frank Girardi.  Schedule: Tuesday & Thursdays – September 14th – October 7th. 4:30pm – 5:30pm. Location: Minneola Trailhead Park.  Fee: Minneola Residents: $25.00 / Non-Residents: $35.00

LINE DANCING CLASSES:

The next session of Line Dance Classes will begin on August 11, 2010 and run six weeks.
Classes are on Wednesdays –Class time is 9:00a.m. – 12:00noon.   Fee for the six week session is $30.00.
Classes taught by experienced instructor, Nancy McDavid. All ability levels are welcome! Classes will be held in the Minneola City Hall Gym. Register for the classes by calling the City of Minneola Recreation Department at 394-3598 ext.227.

BELLY DANCE FITNESS WITH MARIA!:

Minneola Recreation Department presents Belly Dance Fitness with Maria!!  Learn beginner belly dance fitness moves for a full body, low impact workout that will enhance muscle tone and flexibility!! Maria currently teaches Belly Dance Fitness in Leesburg and is excited about sharing this popular class with women of all ages, fitness levels and abilities. Maria is also a CPR Certified Zumba Fitness Instructor, who teaches at many locations and Zumba Parties. Come shimmy with Maria on Mondays 5:45-6:30pm & Wednesdays 6:15 – 7:00pm, Minneola Recreation Center meeting room, only $5 per person.  Belly dance accessories such as coin hip scarves will be provided during class for added fun, and are also available for purchase.  Need more info? ZUMBA CLASSES:

Zumba Classes are held on Monday mornings – 9:30am, Monday evening – 6:30pm and Wednesday evening offers a “How To” class at 6:15 followed by a regular class at 7:15pm.  All classes are held at the Minneola Recreation Center located at 800 N.
