altEustis, FL-   The Eustis Main Street, Inc. Public Arts and Music committee presents the first of the 2011 “A Musical Evening” concert series at 7:30 p.m., January 7, 2011 in the Historic State Theater.

Performers for this event will showcase a variety of styles. Singer/songwriter Garrison Doles has the voice and guitar skills to be taken seriously on all levels. One of his critics calls him “a great singer, guitar wizard and truly entertaining storyteller.”

The Token Gamblers have a spontaneous and honest bluegrass/folk sound powered by the songwriting of brothers Henry and Ricky Melendy in the style of the great John Hartford.

Completing the program is Laney Jones, a young award winning singer/songwriter who has a unique, quirky and captivating style. Her voice has been described as “sweet as a chocolate sundae with sprinkles”!

Tickets are $15 and available at Bay Street Players box office, 109 N. Bay Street, Eustis. For ticket information call (352) 357-7777 or visit www.baystreetplayers.org.

The event is sponsored by Eustis main Street, Inc., Public Arts and Music, M.T. Pawketts Productions, Quality Printing and Kace Studios. This fundraiser supports PAM and the 14th Annual Lake County Folk Festival, October 8th & 9th, 2011.
