JO-KE-R LACROSSE to host Spring Lacrosse Camp!:
JO-KE-R Lacrosse is offering a nine week spring lacrosse camp!  The camp is offered to boys and girls in K - 3 grades.  Camp will start on February 20th and run through April 25th.  No Camp on April 17th.  Camp sessions will take place on Sundays at the Minneola Athletic Complex (next to Grassy Lake Elementary).  The time will be 2:00pm - 3:30pm.  Lacrosse is growing in popularity and this camp will provide a great introductory experience into this exciting sport!  JO-KE-R is offering boys and girls an opportunity to learn and participate in the sport of lacrosse at an early age.  Camp cost is $100.00 per player and includes a reversible tank, shorts and t-shirt.  Mini sticks, soft practice balls and modified goals will be used to accommodate our young players.  The camp will be under the direction of local High School and Youth League coaches as well as current East Ridge High School Varsity players.  This is a NO contact camp.  Modified youth rules will be in play.  Registration information is now available by calling Coach Kevin at (352)536-9411

LINE DANCING CLASSES:

Sessions run six weeks and are held on Wednesdays - Class time is 9a.m. - 12 noon. Fee for the six week session is $35.00.
Classes taught by experienced instructor, Nancy McDavid. All ability levels are welcome!
Classes will be held in the Minneola City Hall Gym. Register for the classes by calling the City of Minneola Recreation Department at 394-3598 ext.227.

BELLY DANCE FITNESS WITH MARIA!:
Minneola Recreation Department presents Belly Dance Fitness with Maria!! Learn beginner belly dance fitness moves for a full body, low impact workout that will enhance muscle tone and flexibility!! Maria currently teaches Belly Dance Fitness in Leesburg and is excited about sharing this popular class with women of all ages, fitness levels and abilities. Maria is also a CPR Certified Zumba Fitness Instructor, who teaches at many locations and Zumba Parties. Come shimmy with Maria on Mondays 5:45-6:30pm & Wednesdays 6:15 - 7:00pm, Minneola Recreation Center meeting room, only $5 per person.Belly dance accessories such as coin hip scarves will be provided during class for added fun, and are also available for purchase. YOGA CLASSES:

Beginning Monday, February 8th, Gentle YOGA will be offered from 11:00 A.M. - Noon taught by certified Yoga instructor, Jana McNally. This class is great for beginners or those who want a gentle class. The benefits of YOGA include; stress relief, pain reduction, improved lung function, greater flexibility, increased strength, improved circulation, weight management, cardiovascular conditioning, improved body alignment and increased concentration and focus.
Each session involves stretching, Asanas (poses), breathing techniques and a relaxing meditation.
Class Schedule: Mondays 11:00am - 12Noon
Class Fee: $6.00
Classes run continually and can be joined at any time
Bring: Yoga Mat and a large towel wear comfortable clothing

ZUMBA CLASSES:
Zumba Classes are held on Monday mornings @ 9:30am, Monday evening @ 6:30pm and Wednesday evening offers a "How To" class at 6:15 followed by a regular class at 7:15pm. All classes are held at the Minneola Recreation Center located at 800 N. US Hwy. 27.
Class fees: Minneola Residents - $5.00 per class / Non-Residents - $6.00 per class.

CLERMONT CHESS CLUB:

Meets at the Kehlor Building, 466 W. Minneola Avenue, Clermont, on Thursdays 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. and, Saturdays 11:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Learners and players of all levels are wanted. Call Joe Teri at (352)242-9697 for more information.

JR. WOMAN'S CLUB:

The South Lake Jr. Woman's Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at 655 W. Broome Street, Clermont.
